Track Mats

CATCH-ALL Track Mats function as a “high tech” carpet by covering the ground surface of the lubrication/friction management site. The track mat collects excess lubricant/friction modifier that would otherwise penetrate the ballast and helps to maintain a clean, safe site.

CATCH-ALL Track Mats function as a “high tech” carpet by covering the ground surface of the lubrication/friction management site. The track mats collect excess lubricant/friction modifier that would otherwise penetrate the ballast and helps to maintain a clean, safe site.

CATCH-ALL Track Mats consist of a semi-impervious, olefinic copolymer resin membrane that is bonded between two layers of needle punched, non-woven geotextile. CATCH-ALL Track Mats are available as a complete set or as individual field or gage modules.

  • Excellent durability and resistance to UV deterioration, solvents, puncture, excessive temperatures, moisture and high volume traffic.
  • Permits moisture to pass through while retaining grease and other contaminants.
  • Easily cut to match any gage face or top of rail bar configuration for a custom fit.
  • Can also be used for soil/ballast protection at equipment staging and maintenance areas, tie storage and bulk handling facilities.
  • Made in the U.S.A. from post-consumer products (PET).

CATCH-ALL Track Mats are easily installed in applications with wood ties by directly fixing the mats to the ties with nails or staples. In applications with concrete or steel ties, the mat can be attached to treated or composite lumber placed in the crib under the rails.

CATCH-ALL Track Mats are a barrier type of solution to soil and ballast contamination. These mats are not for applications where an absorbent is required for soil and ballast protection. CATCH-ALL Track Mats will not absorb hydrocarbons. For applications requiring absorption of hydrocarbons, please contact us.
